Genoa defender Koni De Winter is attracting interest from the Premier League and Everton may have the advantage over Wolves.
The centre-back turns 22 in June and joined the Juventus youth academy in 2018, going on loan to Empoli first and then Genoa.
This deal has an obligation to buy for €8m plus bonuses in case of Serie A safety and a certain number of appearances, so with Genoa in mid-table, that seems practically guaranteed.
De Winter might not remain at Genoa for long, because he has already attracted a great deal of interest from the Premier League.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Wolverhampton Wanderers have some stiff competition from Everton.
The Toffees would have the advantage because Genoa are owned by 777Partners, who are in the process of takeover talks with the Premier League club.
De Winter’s profile is rising and he made his senior debut for Belgium in the 0-0 draw with the Republic of Ireland last week.
