Everton and Nottingham Forest are keen on signing former Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, reports Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra.
The South American is a free agent after he was released by the Scottish Premiership club at the end of the season.
Morelos is not short of suitors despite suffering his worst form in front of goal in his last season at the Ibrox club.
Fenerbahçe and La Liga duo Sevilla and Cadiz are also keeping tabs on the 26-year-old.
An unnamed Italian club also want Morelos, and more clubs are expected to join them in the race.
The former HJK Helsinki star ended the season with 12 goals and seven assists, which was due to him losing his starting berth.
Morelos left Rangers after bagging 124 goals and 58 assists in 269 games across six seasons.
He is just entering his peak years and should not struggle to impress in the Premier League.
Everton struggled in front of goal last term and need to boost their forward options.
The Toffees scored the second-least goals (34) in the Premier League and narrowly escaped relegation, finishing two points above the drop zone on the last day of the campaign.
Everton could lose Dominic Calvert-Lewin, and the future and fitness of the England international striker would determine their plans for Morelos.
Forest also need more attacking firepower, but the presence of Taiwo Awoniyi could dissuade the Colombian from joining them.
The Nigerian ended the campaign in fine form, and Morelos would prefer to join a club where he is guaranteed a starting spot.
He will be keen to prove himself elsewhere after etching his name into Rangers’ history books.
El Bufalo, as he is fondly called by Light Blues fans, won the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup in Scotland.
Morelos has plenty of experience and quality to offer, and it will be intriguing to see where he ends up plying his trade next.
