European opener against Plzeň

UEFA have scheduled the league-phase fixtures in the Europa League, with Eintracht beginning their campaign at home on 26 September.

Following the draw for the league phase of the UEFA Europa League on Friday in Monte Carlo, European football’s governing body has now confirmed the dates and kick-off times of all matches.

Eintracht Frankfurt will return to the Europa League after two years away on 26 September at home to FC Viktoria Plzeň (kick-off 21:00 CEST). The first away game is in Istanbul against Beşiktaş JK on Thursday 3 October (kick-off 21:00 CEST). Latvian side FC RFS and Czech Republic outfit SK Slavia Praha will also travel to Frankfurt this year, while the Eagles will visit FC Midtjylland in Denmark and Olympique Lyon in France. In the new year, Eintracht will take on Ferencvárosi TC at home and AS Roma away in the space of a week at the end of January.
