The Three Lions secured a top seeding at the tournament despite recording a 1-1 draw against North Macedonia in their final qualifier.

Scotland were drawn in a fiendishly tough Group A alongside hosts Germany, Hungary and Switzerland.

A stunning qualifying campaign saw the Tartan Army make it to their second consecutive European Championship tournament.

They finished second behind Spain after winning their first five games but now face a tough task in Germany next year.

Defending European champions Italy have landed the most challenging group alongside Croatia, Spain and Albania.

Luciano Spalletti’s side were thoroughly unconvincing in the qualifiers but pipped Ukraine for second spot behind England.

France will take on the Netherlands and Austria in Group D. Either Poland, Wales, Finland or Estonia will join them after the Euro 2024 play-offs in March.

Portugal were drawn with Turkey, Czechia and either Georgia, Greece, Kazakhstan or Luxembourg in Group F.

Belgium have landed a favourable group with Slovakia, Romania and either Israel, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Ukraine and Iceland.
