Real Madrid boasted an impressive lineup of 13 players participating in the current European Championships, with the addition of their new star, Kylian Mbappe.

Among the teams, France has the highest number of Real Madrid players, totalling four. Spain follows with three, and Germany has two representatives.

It is worth mentioning that the count could have been higher if David Alaba had recovered from his injury in time. Additionally, Lucas Vazquez did not make the cut for Luis de la Fuente’s squad, and Thibaut Courtois was left out of Belgium’s team.

Many of these players hold crucial roles in their national squads and with the group stage matches now complete, it is an appropriate moment to review the performances of these Real Madrid players at the Euros.

France

Ferland Mendy: N.A./10

Ferland Mendy has not seen any game time due to Didier Deschamps’ preference for Theo Hernandez. Mendy hasn’t played at all, not even as a substitute.

Aurelien Tchouameni: 5/10

Aurelien Tchouameni’s efforts have been largely overshadowed by the outstanding performances of N’Golo Kante. Tchouameni has started two out of three games for France, maintaining a passing accuracy of over 92%.

Eduardo Camavinga: 4/10

Deschamps has favoured the Kante and Adrien Rabiot combination, which limited Eduardo Camavinga to only two appearances as a substitute. He has played a total of 48 minutes across these matches.

Kylian Mbappe: 7/10

With one goal and one assist in two games, Kylian Mbappe has been a key player for France in what has been a relatively quiet tournament for the team. Despite missing one game due to injury, he made an immediate impact upon his return, scoring a goal.

Spain

Nacho: 3/10

Nacho, the outgoing Real Madrid captain, has only participated in one match for Spain, their opening game against Croatia. During this match, he recorded four ball recoveries and one clearance.

Dani Carvajal: 8/10

Dani Carvajal has played in two of Spain’s three group stage matches and has performed so well that he’s being considered for the team of the tournament. He scored a goal, averaged three tackles per game, and achieved 12 ball recoveries in those two matches.

Joselu: 4/10

Joselu has appeared in just one game for Spain, which was their final group stage match against Albania. In his 72 minutes on the pitch, he made three attempts on goal but did not manage to score.

Germany

Antonio Rudiger: 7/10

Despite conceding just two goals during the group stage, one of which was an own goal by Antonio Rudiger against Scotland, the Real Madrid defender has been solid overall. He has averaged three tackles per match and committed only four fouls.

Toni Kroos: 7/10

Toni Kroos has been a central figure for Germany even though he hasn’t scored or assisted any goals. His passing accuracy is over 95%, and he has completed 53 passes in the final third, 36 into key play areas, and nine into the penalty box.

Croatia

Luka Modric: 6/10

Luka Modric has scored one goal in the tournament across 235 minutes of play. Unfortunately, this has been his only significant contribution as Croatia has now been eliminated from the competition.

England

Jude Bellingham: 6/10

Jude Bellingham has played 266 minutes over three matches, scoring one goal, which was a decisive winner against Serbia. However, his influence waned afterwards, largely due to England’s overall struggles.

Turkey

Arda Guler: 7/10

Arda Guler has been a standout performer for Turkey. He scored a stunning goal in the opening match, and while that remains his only direct contribution, his presence has significantly lifted Turkey’s performance.

Ukraine

Andriy Lunin: 2/10

Andriy Lunin had a rough tournament, especially in the match against Romania where he made crucial errors leading to a 0-3 loss. As a result, he lost his starting position, and Ukraine has since been knocked out of the competition.
