Ethan Ampadu says Gonzalo Higuaín has been the best player in training | OneFootball

If you’re a Chelsea supporter, you have to love what Gonzalo Higuaín has done since his arrival last month.

Ethan Ampadu has been so impressed with the Argentine since becoming a member of the squad, he says that he’s been the best player in training.

“I’ve been really impressed with [Gonzalo] Higuaín finishing since he arrived, so I’d have to say him, he’s been really good,” he said, when asked who has been the star behind closed doors.

Ampadu also lifted the lid on who have been able to bring the squad together when the team needed it most.

“David Luiz is good at that,” he said.

“[Cesar] Azpilicueta as well, but as a team, we are all aware when we have a bad result so we know we have to lift it again as quickly as possible.”

Finally, Ampadu revealed who the biggest jokers in the Chelsea dressing room are – an answer that will surprise absolutely nobody.

“I’d say the Brazilians when they’re together in a group.

“I don’t understand it sometimes but they’re always laughing and joking so it has to be them.”

Chelsea will face Manchester City on Sunday in a huge top-four clash.
