Erling Haaland enjoyed an absolutely dream Borussia Dortmund debut, bagging his first goal just 183 seconds into the match before completing a 20-minute hat-trick to help his side come from 3-1 down to beat Augsburg 5-3.

In an interview with Norweigan outlet Viasport after the match, Haaland admitted he was focused on helping the team and had no time to be nervoud.

“I don’t think I’ve processed what has happened,” the striker admitted.

“So I’m actually rather calm at the moment.

“I was imaging scoring one goal, which turned into two goals when they took a two-goal lead. I was thinking about scoring before the match and that’s what happened.”

Haaland was ready to come on at 2-1 down when Augsburg extended their lead to 3-1, causing the teenage sensation to re-think his aims before stepping out onto the pitch.

“Well, at that point I just thought that I needed to score a hat-trick, and that things would work out [if I did], and that’s the way it turned out.”

Talk about confidence.

Dortmund will be back in action on Friday when they host FC Köln.
