Erling Haaland has not even been at Borussia Dortmund for a year. He has played 22 times in the Bundesliga. And he has, somehow, scored 23 goals in those appearances.
A goal every 70 minutes and 37 seconds of Bundesliga action.
Those goals mean he is already in the top 40 of Dortmund’s ALL-TIME Bundesliga goalscorers.
His 23 goals have him in joint 39th place, alongside the likes of Paco Alcácer (27 apps), Henrikh Mkhitaryan (90), Kevin Großkreutz (176) and Mats Hummels (264).
Another five goals will see the big Norwegian break into the top 30.
He is only eight goals away from the top 25, though Jadon Sancho is seven ahead so may beat him there, and just 20 more goals from where he is right now would put Haaland in 15th position.
There’s a way to go to reach the likes of Manfred Burgsmüller (135), Michael Zorc (131) and Lothar Emmerich (115) at the top of the charts but at this rate, don’t rule it out.
