England have unveiled an incredible warm-up shirt for Tuesday’s 150th Anniversary Heritage match against Scotland.
The teams will meet at Hampden Park this week to commemorate the first meeting between the two nations back in 1872, a game officially recognised by FIFA as the first international football match to ever be played.
While Scotland will take to the field in a special shirt to mark the occasion, England will only don their commemorative shirt, which harks back to that 1872 fixture, during the warm-up.
The England warm-up shirt will not be available to buy but those worn by the players will be auctioned, with the proceeds going to Alzheimer’s Society, the FA’s official charity partner.
