England announced its squad for their friendly against Germany on Friday and people were left stunned by Gareth Southgate’s selection.

The England manager has unveiled the most inexperienced side since 1976 to face Germany on Friday night. Full of young first-timers, Southgate is handing debuts to Swansea’s 20-year-old striker Tammy Abraham, Ruben Loftus-Cheek (21) from Crystal Palace and Everton’s Jordan Pickford (23). Eric dier will captain England for the first time, too.
