Former Chelsea ace Emmanuel Petit believes midfielder Andrey Santos will fit in “perfectly” at the club next season.
The Blues are once again set for another busy summer and have already agreed a deal worth £30m to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich.
Chelsea are facing a critical summer and are also looking to sign a centre back and right footed attacker, whilst they could move for another striker.
Whilst incomings are important Chelsea also have a number of players joining from pre agreed deals or returning to the club after loan spells.
The Blues have Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez arriving whilst both Santos and Djordje Petrovic will return from Strasbourg.

Todd Boehly has already expressed his excitement at seeing Santos in action, and it’s believed the Brazilian will play a key role in Enzo Maresca’s squad next season.
Santos scored ten goals last season and Petit has now had his say on the 21-year-old and believes he will fit in “perfectly” at Chelsea.
“He can do whatever he wants on the pitch,” he said as cited on X.com.
“I think he could be the answer for Chelsea in midfield with Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez, I think he is the missing link. Romeo Lavia is a good player but he is still learning. I just think that Santos will fit in perfectly at Chelsea.”
Midfield is arguably Chelsea’s strongest part of the squad, but Santos won’t be the only midfielder arriving this summer.

Dario Essugo will arrive after Chelsea agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon in March for the 20-year-old, and he’s set to make his debut at the Club World Cup.
Essugo will provide much needed cover for Caicedo, but it remains to be seen if Chelsea will keep him or send him on loan to further his development.
