According to Fabrizio Romano, sources close to Paris Saint-Germain have denied that the club will make a new contract offer to Kylian Mbappé (25) during today’s meeting with the Emir of Qatar.

The meeting will not be about the player’s future at the club as it is believed that Mbappé has already informed PSG of his intentions to leave at the end of the season, and is thought to be in advanced talks with Real Madrid.

It was previously reported that Mbappé has made it clear to PSG in a meeting with president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi that no amount of money can sway him to extend his stay in his hometown further. He wants to join the Spanish giants and believes that they are better able to suit his personal and professional aims.

Mbappé will leave the club at the end of the season as their greatest-ever goal-scorer and unless they can finally do it this season, the star who had brought them closest to winning the Champions League when they reached the 2020 final.
