Many Portsmouth fans have taken to Twitter to react to Danny Cowley’s comments in the wake of his side’s heavy 4-1 defeat away at Rotherham United.

The visitors fell behind early on as their former striker Michael Smith scored his first of the afternoon just short of the half hour mark, before Marcus Harness levelled the scores four minutes into the second half as Pompey fought back with vengeance.

However Smith then notched up his second, before further goals from Richard Wood and Ben Wiles secured what was a very comfortable victory for the Millers in the end at the AESSEAL New York Stadium.

Naturally it didn’t take the Portsmouth faithful long to respond to Cowley’s comments after the game, with many taking to social media to air their views on what the manager had to say after the defeat.
