Stephan El Shaarawy reflected on the team’s performance as well as the fans’ recent boycott following Roma’s win over Udinese.
The Italian winger spoke to Sky Sport after the match.
“Winning was what mattered most tonight,” he said.
“It was a particular evening for many reasons, the 3 points were important and doing well to regain some confidence.”
“Juric wants man-to-man marking, he asked me for a lot of sacrifice but I have already done it in the past and I adapt to what the coach asks for. It was a great victory.”
“We understand the public’s disappointment, for our part the responsibility for De Rossi’s dismissal concerns the results. They could have been better, but now let’s try to start again and collect as many points as we can. Winning helps settle things a bit.”
