Daniele De Rossi commented on his future during his induction into Italy’s Hall of Fame.

The legendary midfielder and former Roma player as well as manager was asked about his future following the ceremony.

While speaking to the members of the media, De Rossi remarked, “I never said I wouldn’t return to Trigoria.”

“Regardless of the dynamics of both a player and a coach, being dismissed is part of the job,” he added.

“Trigoria is my home, the president also said so, and my father also works there. I spent more time in Trigoria and Coverciano than at home.”

“One day I will return to Trigoria. Where one feels well, one returns.”
