After selling Randal Kolo Muani right at the end of the transfer window in the summer, Eintracht Frankfurt were left with very few striking options, however, that seems to be coming to an end according to Sky Germany.

Viktoria Plzen striker Rafiu Durosinmi is close to joining Frankfurt. The final details of the deal still need to be clarified so aa medical and the deal are likely to be completed at some point in December. The fee for the Nigerian is likely to be around €7-8m.

The only issue at the moment is that Durosinmi is currently out injured with a damaged knee ligament and he will likely return in the next 3-4 weeks.

It has previously been reported that Frankfurt will aim for two strikers in the winter and the club were also pursuing Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ioannidis.

However, the Greek side is uninterested in letting the striker leave the club in the winter. Frankfurt had offered Panathinaikos €7-8m but they wanted more.
