PSG’s Randal Kolo Muani set for another Juventus loan

Juventus had hoped to conclude a permanent deal for Randal Kolo Muani (26) this summer. However, that looks to be impossible, given the Italian side’s financial situation.

Kolo Muani spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus. He started in scintillating form, but then endured a more difficult end to the campaign. Despite that, the Turin-based club have been intent on retaining the France international and have worked all summer to that end.

However, talks with Paris Saint-Germain have been difficult. PSG have favoured a permanent departure for the former FC Nantes forward. Pulling off that deal has been difficult for Juventus, and it has been difficult to find a deal that satisfies all parties.

Ultimately, the deal agreed may be one that doesn’t entirely align with PSG’s desires, but with just hours remaining in the transfer window, it is one that they may have to accept. Le Parisien understands that a deal over a loan deal with a purchase option is close. PSG had wanted a permanent deal or an obligation clause. Neither looks possible for Juventus, who have had to scale back their ambition. Albeit slightly reticently, PSG may send their forward on another loan deal.
