The regional administrative court of Naples reversed its previous decision and now Eintracht Frankfurt fans will be able to attend the game at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona this week in the second leg of the Champions League Round of 16.

According to a report from Sky Italia, the regional administrative court, also known as The Tar, accepted the precautionary request from the German club after it was said that no away fans will be allowed to attend the game versus Napoli.

The statement from the tribunal read: “The Tar accepts the precautionary request and, as a result, suspends the contested measures in the part in which, in relation to the match scheduled for March 15, 2023. This decree will be implemented by the Administration and is deposited with the secretariat of the Court which will provide communications to the parties”

The previous decree became an added burden for Eintracht fans who saw their team lose ground by conceding two goals at their home. They thought to create a mild atmosphere of their own at away turf and while that had some uncertainty, the Eagles’ fans can now surely be present at the prestigious stadium at Naples for a cracking encounter.
