Preparations for the final match of the season got off to a promising start as the Eagles look to secure sixth place, knowing their destiny is in their own hands.

Twenty-five players completed a rigorous training session on Tuesday morning to kick off preparations for the home clash against Leipzig. Among the 21 outfield players were Sebastian Rode and Makoto Hasebe, who are in the last week of their professional careers, as well as Nnamdi Collins, who had been training individually recently following a knee injury sustained at the start of the month.
