Midfielder Marko Grujic has been told by Liverpool he is free to leave and it looks as though he could be making a permanent move to FC Porto this summer transfer window.
The Serbian midfielder was one of Jurgen Klopp’s earliest transfer arrivals and looked the sort of player you could see developing nicely under the German.
However, he has largely spent time out on loan during his life as a Liverpool player and that could come to a permanent end this summer now.
Indeed, according to Football Insider, the Reds are hoping to get £15m from the deal with it expected to be at least a eight-figure fee, with the player himself confident of completing the transfer.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
If Liverpool can get £15m for Grujic then they will have done very well indeed.
He’s a good player but he’s clearly not at the level the Reds need and so it is for the best that he moves on this summer transfer window.
The Reds are obviously looking to raise funds to help bolster their summer recruitment and this sort of money should help that along.
