Birmingham had a mixed performance in terms of defensive duels. They won a lot in the defence but failed to create an impact high up the pitch.

Birmingham were impressive in 50-50 balls with Troy Deeney winning all of his duels. Ryan Woods and Jeremie Bela were impressive.

After a few defensive errors in the first half, Birmingham failed to pull themselves back into the game. However, Peterborough were clever enough to make the most out of those errors and were pretty solid for the rest of the match. It was surely a disappointing result for Birmingham.
