Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camaving has said that Karim Benzema is the best player he has ever played with.

Speaking in a chat with Oh My Goal France, the young midfielder participated in a fun segment where he also revealed that former forward Cristiano Ronaldo happens to be his role model.

“Best player I have played with? If I had to choose one… Kylian [Mbappe] isn’t with me on a daily basis, so I’d say Karim [Benzema],” said the midfielder as quoted by Madrid Xtra.

Upon asking who inspires him at Real Madrid, Camavinga added, “Who inspires me the most at Real Madrid? Toni Kroos & Luka Modric.”

On Bellingham and Ronaldo

Despite being only 21 years of age, Camavinga has made the first team spot his own. The player acknowledges possessing elements of Ronaldo’s mentality and draws inspiration from his career trajectory.

“For sure, he’s a role model. I think he’s a role model for everyone. What he’s doing is incredible & what he did in his career is incredible. We can only be inspired by him.”

Furthermore, Camavinga also talked about the impact Jude Bellingham has made in his debut season, saying that he did not expect the England international to score so many goals.

“I didn’t think he’d score so many goals. He helps us in matches because it’s great to score goals. But you also have to look at what he does on the pitch & what he does is incredible,” he said.

Thoughts on Vincius Jr.

The young Frenchman conceded that the likes of Vinicius Jr and Bellingham are the most technical players at Real Madrid at the moment.

Above all, he also mentioned that Vinicius’ mentality is top-notch as he does not want to stop at anything.

“Best technical players at Real Madrid? I’d say Vini & Jude Bellingham.”

“The quality that impresses me the most about Viní Jr? His strength, he’s someone who never stops. And his physique. And above all his mentality too,” he added.

Lastly, Camavinga revealed the name of the player who complains a lot, “The player who complains the most at Real Madrid? There are a lot but I’ll say Dani Ceballos.”
