Charleroi have announced that Valentine Ozornwafor has returned to the club after his loan deal with Ligue 2 side Sochaux was cut short. The Nigerian central defender, who joined Charleroi from Galatasaray on a permanent deal last summer before leaving for France, only managed a handful of appearances for the Ligue 2 side. The 23-year-old has been capped twice by the Nigerian national side.

Charleroi had a busy transfer deadline day, with Vakoun Bayo returning a day before, Nikola Stulic was also announced and now the return of Ozornwafor. In terms of departures, Loic Bessile was loaned to Eupen until the end of the season. They also announced that Oday Dabbagh, the Palestinian striker who plays in Portugal, will be joining the club in the summer on a free transfer.
