Dutch pundit Derksen warns Koeman: You're playing with fire bringing Depay to Barcelona

Dutch pundit Johan Derksen believes Ronald Koeman is "playing with fire" over Barcelona's deal for Memphis Depay.

Derksen says Koeman will need Depay to succeed with Barca or risk losing his job - and the departing Lyon striker's preferred position could become an issue.

He told De Oranjezomer "He is a stubborn boy. If he is not allowed to play in the centre of the Dutch national team, he will sulk. At Barcelona he will be a bit more lenient in the beginning. That boy knows exactly what he wants. He wants to play in the centre.

"The funny thing is: they want a 'ten' or a free role. Koeman is playing with fire, I think. He hangs all his possessions on Depay.

"He can also just fail at Barcelona, can't he?"
