Newcastle United faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a victory on their travels in the FA Cup. The Magpies made a poor start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 13th minute when Bernardo Silva found the back of the net. Silva doubled the home team’s advantage just after the half-hour mark as Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 down on the scoreline.
The Tyneside club failed to mount a comeback in the second half and crashed to a lackluster 2-0 loss away from home which knocked them out of the FA Cup.
