Aston Villa locked horns with Leeds United at Elland Road earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on the road. The Villans were solid in the first half and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
Luis Sinisterra was sent off by the referee in the 48th minute which put Aston Villa at a numerical advantage. The West Midlands club failed to be clinical in the final third and were held to a frustrating 0-0 draw away from home.

The Argentine keeper was a bit untidy with his ball distribution but made one good save in the game.

He was solid at the back and created some decent chances in the final third.

Augustinsson was a dominant presence in the air but offered very little going forward.

He worked hard defensively and engineered a coupe of meaningful chances in the final third.
CM: Douglas Luiz – 8/10
The Brazilian midfield ace anchored the midfield well and orchestrated two good chances in the final third.
CM: John McGinn – 7/10
The Scottish talent protected his backline well and made two good chances in the Leeds half.
RW: Leon Bailey – 6.5/10
He caused a few problems for the opposition defenders but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
ST: Ollie Watkins – 7/10
Watkins was a constant menace in front of the Leeds goal but failed to take any of his chances.
LW: Philippe Coutinho – 7.5/10
Coutinho created all kinds of problems for the opposition and was unfortunate to hit the crossbar.
