Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is attracting interest from top Serie A clubs, according to a report in Corriere dello Sport.
The 24-year-old’s contract expires at the end of next season, which means he could agree a pre-contract deal with any club from February onwards on a free transfer.
That’s unless Villa can agree a new deal with the Brazilian, but reported interest from both Roma and Milan could scupper those attempts.
It’s now up to the club whether they want to cash in on the player, with the same report suggesting Villa would seek a fee of around €25m.
Milan are said to have already been in contact with the player’s agent, so it’s really a case of watch this space.
