Gianluigi Donnarumma briefly discussed his future before Milan-Fiorentina saying ‘we will see what the club decides’.
Milan beat Fiorentina on Sunday at Stadio San Siro with goals from Alessio Romagnoli and Franck Kessié, and excellent saves from Gigio Donnarumma.
The 21-year-old has a contract expiring at the end of the season and it hasn’t been renewed yet. The parties are talking but an agreement hasn’t been reached yet.
Before the game against the Viola today, Donnarumma spoke to DAZN:
“Wearing this shirt for a long time? Of course, my agent will discuss it with the club,” Donnarumma said. “There is no problem. Mino knows what to do, but we’ll see what the club decides. Meanwhile, I want to relish this moment as long as I can.”
“Victories bring enthusiasm, but along with that we are a group that really enjoys our time together, and that is an important element in the success we’ve had so far. We want to keep going like this.”
