DONE DEAL: Barcelona confirm signing of Sao Paulo attacker Gustavo Maia

Barcelona have announced the signing of Sao Paulo attacker Gustavo Maia.

The deal has been settled for several weeks, but Barca announced the transfer yesterday with the Spanish transfer window opening.

Maia has signed a deal to 2025, which will carry a buyout clause of €300m.

The 19 year-old joins Barca for a complete fee of €4.5m, with €1m being paid over a year ago to Sao Paulo for first refusal.

Maia will initially be registered with Barca B for next season.
