Diogo Jota scored Wolves’ first goal in Europe for 40 years on Thursday, as his sweet strike gave the Midlands club a deserved lead over Crusaders.
The Molineux giants are back playing on the continent for the first time in a generation following their seventh place finish in the Premier League last season.
And first up was Irish side Crusaders.
Nuno’s men were impressive over the 90 minutes, but it was Jota who made history with this great finish.
Wolves went on to win 2-0 with the second leg in Belfast next week.
