Diego Maradona is one of the finest footballers ever to grace the game and it turns out he’s pretty good at being petty too.

You might recall that Manchester City striker Sergio Agüero used to be married to Maradona’s daughter Gianinna, with whom he had a child – Benjamín – prior to their split in 2012.

And it seems his former son-in-law is still persona non grata around the Maradona household.

In a picture of the Argentine legend taken at his home in Dubai over the weekend, a photograph of Benjamín and father Sergio (top left, below) can be seen in the background.

But what’s unusual about the photograph is El Diego appears to have gone to work with a Sharpie and blacked out Agüero’s face!

However, when it comes to bearing grudges, Maradona has got nothing on Peter Shilton.

Shilton was in goal for England when Maradona scored his infamous ‘Hand of God’ goal at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico and he’s still not over it, almost 32 years later.

“Part of me thinks it’s time to call a halt to it all but the other side says I shouldn’t,” Shilton told The Sun.

“If I agreed to meet him then he would have to apologise, that is the bottom line.

“We were both captains on that day. I’ve never met him since. I wasn’t exactly dying to meet him. But it has been a long time now.”
