Diego Llorente celebrates one year since joining Roma | OneFootball

Spanish defender Diego Llorente expressed his satisfaction at having a personal and career milestone.

Earlier today, Llorente addressed the fact that it has been one year since he officially joined Roma on loan from Leeds United.

Llorente came into the team at a difficult moment and helped contribute to last season’s defensive solidity, playing a vital role in Roma’s games leading up to the Europa League final in Budapest.

“Today I celebrate my first year at Roma,” Llorente wrote on Instagram. “It has been an incredible period of time, in which I was welcomed by the Roma family and in which I experienced beautiful moments that made me happy and others that were difficult but always with a fan base that makes me feel loved and at home.”
