In an interview with RTBF, Kortrijk’s controversial attacker Didier Lamkel Ze claimed that he will not be at the club by the end of January. Lamkel Ze only moved to Kortrijk in the summer, after a whirlwind of a summer in which he was reportedly almost signed by a club in Cyprus, as well as Ferencvaros. It is the latter that the players is claiming he will join during the January transfer window.

Lamkel Ze said “Given my qualities, I know I’m better than Kortrijk, and that was also the deal with the club’s General Manager Matthias Leterme when I signed here”. It is unclear what the deal is with the player and Leterme, but the player went on to say “I need a big challenge to reach a new level and relaunch my career, and this is an offer I cannot refuse. Ferencvaros is a great club, which plays the Champions League or the Europa every year League. The Hungarian leaders have been following me for a long time, they already wanted me when I was at Antwerp. At 90%, I can therefore announce that I will sign for Hungary in January”.
