Real Madrid entertained Atletico Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn a good result at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a decent start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 20th minute when Brahim Diaz got his name on the scoresheet. The Madrid giants sat on their lead well and managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Carlo Ancelotti’s men conceded the equaliser in injury-time when Marcos Llorente found the back of the net. The match ended with Real Madrid being held to a lackluster 1-1 draw in the Madrid derby.
