Ex-Lazio and Napoli forward Paolo di Canio has expressed high praise for Partenopei star Victor Osimhen recently.

Osimhen has been on fire for Napoli this month, having scored more goals than anyone else in September. He is tied with Karim Benzema at the topscorer list for the month. He scored for the Partenopei against Cagliari as well.

Di Canio was talking to Sky Calcio Club and he spoke about Osimhen and his impact at the Maradona Stadium.

The Italian stated: “Honestly, I did not expect such a start to the season from Victor. He is a velociraptor. He is thin but muscular, he is not a ‘moscione’ like Lukaku , he holds the ball to pick up the team. He is an absolutely decisive player for Napoli and he is one who is making a difference.”

Osimhen had grabbed a crucial brace for Napoli against Leicester City as well, having helped them come back from 2-0 down in the Europa League.
