Eintracht travel to Stuttgart “with confidence”. Head coach Dino Toppmöller speaks about the opposition, Robin Koch and provides a fitness update.
… the situation ahead of the match: “Every match is a benchmark for us. We're facing a huge force. We feel ready, we're confident and we're determined to get something. VfB Stuttgart have shown how you can break into the top with good football, hard work and meticulousness. It'll be a tough task. We're really looking forward to locking horns with VfB.”
… team news: “Arthur Theate, who came off with a slight knock yesterday, has given the green light for training on Saturday and thus for the match on Sunday too.”
… Robin Koch: “He leads from the front on the pitch, just through the way he plays alone: he puts his body on the line, throws himself into every challenge and is prepared to do the dirty work. He can also play very good football for a defender. We’re glad to have such players. Together in the group with Kevin Trapp and Mario Götze, he’s doing his job as we imagined.”
… Rasmus Kristensen: “If it was down to him, he’d get on the bus on Saturday and travel with us. He’s fully on track, we had a repeat MRI this week. We’ll have to see how we can integrate him during the international break. There’s a chance that he’ll be back in the squad against Bremen, but we may also wait a bit longer with a view to risk management.”
