An insight into the hopes of La Liga giants Barcelona of reinforcing the club’s frontline this summer has on Sunday been forthcoming online.
The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, and confirms that Deco and co. are eyeing a marquee attacking signing with a view to next season.
As much is expected to come in one of two positions – the left wing, or at centre-forward.
When it comes to the former, the profile ‘most liked’ by those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou is Liverpool star Luis Díaz, a player who has ‘never hidden’ his desire to one day pull on the Blaugrana colours.
A close eye is also being kept on AC Milan standout Rafael Leão.
Turning attentions towards the striker spot, and a clear favourite has also been established in the form of Newcastle United talisman Alexander Isak.
The Swede is considered the ideal long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski, albeit with a lengthy list of alternatives having also been drawn up, featuring the names of the likes of Viktor Gyökeres and Jonathan David.
