An insight into the details of a recent offer knocked back by La Liga outfit Valencia for midfielder Javi Guerra has come to the fore online.
As much, it is understood, was lodged by Italian heavyweights AC Milan.
Youngster Guerra is for his part a man in-demand this summer, after another impressive campaign on the books of Valencia.
All told, from his berth in the middle of the park, the 22-year-old featured in all but two of Los Che’s La Liga fixtures, chipping in with three goals and three assists along the way.
Such endeavours proved enough to pique the attentions of a whole host of clubs, chief among them the aforementioned AC Milan.
So much so that, according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Sky Italia, the Rossoneri ‘proposed paying €16 million plus another €4million in variables to secure his services’.
This proposal, however, was turned back without so much as a second thought by Valencia, certain that they can secure a higher fee.
Talks between the clubs are expected to continue over the weeks ahead.
