Barcelona confirm signing of Joan García from Espanyol

Barcelona have announced the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Joan García from LaLiga side Espanyol.

The 24-year-old joins Barça on a five-year deal for an estimated fee of €25m.

García is expected to become Barcelona's number one goalkeeper in front of Marc-André ter Stegen and Wojciech Szczęsny.

After breaking into the Espanyol first team in 2021, García went on to make 41 LaLiga appearances before switching to the Catalan giants.
