Tottenham have confirmed that Destiny Udogie has undergone surgery after picking up a quadricep injury in training this week.
It was reported on Saturday that the Spurs defender would be out for the rest of the season and picking up the knock in midweek.
And now that has been confirmed by the north London club via their social media accounts.
Udogie will now miss key games in Tottenham’s bid for Champions League football next term and will likely sit out the European Championships with Italy.
