This is the moment Derby County player Conor Hourihane confronts angry fans after the club’s 1-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town.

The defeat on Saturday ( 21 October) saw the club slip to 11th in the League One table, with some unsavoury scenes at the final whistle.

After the match, Hourihane, who scored an own goal, was in dispute with angry fans.

He is seen walking over to fans and heard saying: “I’m trying my best, we’re trying our best.”

He then shrugs his shoulders walks away.

In a post-match interview, Derby County goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith admitted the players were frustrated by their performance.
