Germany welcomed Turkey to the Olympiastadion in Berlin and the visitors wonât forget this performance after a 3-2 win.
Scorers: Havertz 5â˛, FĂźlkrug 75â˛; Kadioglu 38â˛, YÄąldÄąz 45+2â˛, Sari 71Ⲡ(P)
Germany were stunned at home against Turkey as defensive errors haunted Julian Nagelsmannâs side.
It seemed the hosts would control the game when Kai Havertz (playing at left-back) was allowed to float into the box and rolled home the opener after five minutes.
However, the visitors werenât too shaken and two lighting strikes stunned Kevin Trapp for the eventual lead.
A ball over the top found full-back Ferdi Kadioglu and he controlled it perfectly to blast home his first international goal at the near post.
Then 18-year-old Kenan YÄąldÄąz doubled things after Germany left the teenager wide open and he slammed an effort off the crossbar and post.
Coming out after the break Germanyâs go-to striker Niclas FĂźllkrug suggested Julian Nagelsmannâs men could get back into the match.
Yet another defensive lapse allowed Turkey to take the lead again.
Havertz committed a handball in the box which allowed Yusuf Sari to score from the penalty spot despite a diving Trapp getting a hand to it.
The result means it is back-to-back stumbles for Nagelsmann and company after a draw with Mexico in October.
