With the squad back from the pre-season tour of Asia, Barcelona sporting director Deco is set for some very busy days ahead.
The former Portuguese international is still working on finalising a couple of departures from the club, while the registrations of new signings and contract renewals remain a big concern.
As such, journalist Jose Alvarez of El Chiringuito TV reports that Deco is meeting with as many as three Barcelona stars today – Marcus Rashford, Inaki Pena, and Hector Fort.
Rashford joined Barcelona this summer on loan from Manchester United, taking a significant pay cut in order to help facilitate the move.
The 27-year-old Englishman, however, is yet to be registered, and the meeting with Deco is understood to be so that the Barça director can reassure the new signing that there will be no issues in his registration with La Liga.

As for the situations of Fort and Pena, both are expected to leave Barcelona before the end of the transfer window.
The meeting with Deco today is taking place to address their futures. However, the La Masia graduates are facing different complications with their departures.
For Pena, he is the only registered first-team goalkeeper at Barça as of today, and as such, the Blaugrana do not wish to bid goodbye to him before getting Joan Garcia’s registration over the line.
As for Fort, there is no shortage of interest, but the FIFA U-20 World Cup starting a month into the start of the new season would render him unavailable for an extended period, posing an issue.
It remains to be seen how the meeting with Deco unfolds as Barcelona hope to register Rashford and facilitate the departures of both Pena and Fort.
