David Wagner signs new Huddersfield contract

David Wagner has signed a new contract with Huddersfield Town.
Wagner’s previous contract expired in a year but he has now committed to the club intil 2021.
The German, who joined the club in November 2015, led the Terriers to promotion in 2017 before keeping them in the Premier League last season.
Wagner had offers to leave the club from Bundesliga sides but has decided to remain in Yorkshire.
According to the Guardian, the new deal sees Wagner earn around €3m-a-year, making him one of the best-paid managers in the Premier League outside of the top six clubs.
Wagner’s assistant manager Christoph Bühler and first team coach Andrew Hughes have also signed new deals.
