According to Marca, the Spanish outlet has reported that defender David Alaba has come to an agreement with Real Madrid. The Bayern Munich ace will reportedly secure a four-year deal with the Spanish giants.
If the reports do in fact turn out to be true then Alaba would see his time with the reigning German and European champions come to an end.
The outlet stated:
“Real Madrid has concluded an agreement with David Alaba. Alaba has accepted a contract for four seasons and a salary close to the 11 million a year that was offered days ago from the offices of Valdebebas, as this newspaper reported on January 2nd.”
Christian Falk, who is the chief of Sport Bild, took to social media and reported the news as well, although his trademark statements of a rumour being true or not true were not said.
It is important to remember also, that nor Bayern or Real Madrid have acknowledged the rumour and there has been no talk of it within Alaba’s inner circle and in particular Pini Zahavi, as it still remains dead silent regarding a move.
If Alaba does in fact move to the Spanish capital, then Real would have won the race for the Austrian’s signature over other football heavyweights including Liverpool, Juventus, and FC Barcelona.
Perhaps the saga surrounding David Alaba and his future is close to being sorted.
