The Blue Girls announced the news this morning via a post on their official club website.
Sevecke joined Everton from French club FC Fleury 91 in summer 2020. The defender has made 31 appearances for the Merseyside club in the Barclays Women’s Super League in which she has scored one goal. Sevecke is a valued member of the Everton team and news of her contract extension is a positive for the club.
After signing her new deal with Everton, Sevecke said “I am very happy and excited to continue my journey as an Evertonian for another year.
“This is a historic club and I feel honoured to be part of it.
“I have played against Brian’s (Sørensen) teams a lot and they are always incredibly competitive and difficult to beat.
“We have had some good conversations, I am very interested in his football philosophy and style of play and can’t wait to work with him.
“It is an exciting time to be an Everton player.”
Sevecke becomes the third player to sign a new deal with Everton this summer. She joins Megan Finnigan and Courtney Brosnan in committing her future to the club.
