Roma defender Evan Ndicka is out of danger as EKG tests did not reveal any signs of a potential heart attack that might have led to his collapse in Udinese-Roma.
The Ivorian centreback is currently under observation at the hospital in Udine: his condition is stable and the player is fully conscious.
Daniele De Rossi and the rest of the team visited Ndicka in hospital and, according to Sky Sport, the defender reassured them of his wellbeing.
The same report by Sky Sport claims De Rossi told Ndicka, “Come on, get better and hurry because I need you on Thursday,” alluding to the upcoming return leg of the Europa League quarterfinals with Milan.
Upon exiting the hospital, De Rossi, when asked about Ndicka’s status by the reporters gathered outside, said, “He’s good, he’s good.”
