On Monday, Ajax announced that Daley Blind has extended his current deal until 2023.
Blind, who was already set to stay until summer 2022, rejoined Ajax from Manchester United in 2018 and has continued to be one of the star performers for his childhood club.
Blind won four consecutive Eredivisie titles between 2011 and 2014 before going off to feature for the Red Devils, winning the Europa League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup during his time in Manchester.
The 31-year-old celebrated his return to Amsterdam with the Dutch double – winning his fifth league title and the KNVB Cup.
He’s made 266 career first-team appearances for the club, scoring 11 goals.
