The draw for the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League draw was made earlier today and there are some tasty clashes to look ahead to. WSL champions Chelsea have a tricky group with Real Madrid on the horizon as well as Arsenal and Wolfsburg’s slayers, Paris FC.
Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has confirmed that Andy Robertson is set to have surgery on the dislocated shoulder injury he picked out while playing for Scotland during the international break. The Athletic’s James Pearce has reported that the left-back will unlikely play again this year, with him facing a three month spell out on the sideline.
There have been more plot twists in the Victor Osimhen and Napoli drama with the Nigerian striker reported to have been upset by remarks made by club president Aurelio De Laurentiis. But De Laurentiis has come out and hit back at those claims. This one isn’t over yet.
