Crystal Palace have come flying out of the blocks this afternoon, and all but confirmed three points against West Ham in the opening minutes.
Oliver Glasner’s side seemed to pounce on West Ham’s midweek toils in Europe, and took the lead after just six minutes when Michael Olise headed home from six yards out.
Then, Eberechi Eze got in on the action, finding the net with a spectacular overhead kick after Jean-Philippe Mateta’s initial effort had been kept out.
To make matters worse for West Ham, they had their own players scoring past them as Emerson put past his goalkeeper under pressure from Daniel Munoz.
All in all, 20 minutes of Premier League football that West Ham will be desperately wanting to forget.
